Hearthstone - Druid Changes are coming soon

Hearthstone druid

Who lately Hearthstone played, he must have noticed the flood of druid decks. Since the publication of "Knight of the Frozen Throne“Jade decks in particular are the absolute“ Flavor of the Month ”, either you play one yourself or you hopefully have a“ creeping ghost ”in your deck, otherwise it will be difficult.

The Taunt Druids are also with the new card "Epidemic" well served and produce one giant servant at a time.

In the meantime, the fans' discussions on the social media platforms are no longer about whether druids need to be nerfed, i.e. weakened, but only about "how?"

Hearthstone - Druids, what changes are needed? What makes you so strong

Two cards count as the greatest culprit "Evil contamination" - "Deal 5 damage, draw 5 cards and summon a 5/5 zombie". As "Epidemic" - "Summon a 1/5 servant with mockery, cast this spell again if the opponent has more servants".

Vile Infestation fulfills several functions and allows druids to use other cards such as Care for more mana crystals instead of drawing cards. It also usually removes a threat from the enemy and generates a servant itself. So far, no other card has been able to fulfill 3 of these functions. So it's no wonder that the Evil Contagion finds its place in almost every Druid deck. And statistically in 75% cases already in turn 8, through the additional mana crystals of other cards or with stimuli.

Why are Jade Druids so strong all of a sudden, there aren't any new Jade cards?

The reason for this lies in Epidemic, so far the biggest weakness of the Jadedruid decks was that they were slow. Often they didn't really get going until after move 6 with combinations of goblin auctioneer + jade idol. By this point the opponent had long since won with an aggressive murloc or pirate deck. With epidemic hearth, druids have got a means to survive these phases, the mock servants in number of opposing servants provide the necessary moves to win.

With the Knight of the Frozen Throne map "Tank looters" - "Battle cry: Give your mocking servants + 2 / + 2", even a whole deck type has developed around epidemic spots, which not only plays for time, but overruns the opponent with the buffed creatures.

Now it is up to the card designers at Blizzard whether and which cards deserve a weakening in order to provide more variety in the tournaments or ranked games.

According to chief developer Ben Brode, there will be more information this week:
