The Dota 2 tournament season starts in October
Two minor and one major tournament are scheduled for next month. Interested teams can already register on the registration page and start their way towards fame and honor (and money!). On the There is also an FAQ on the official login page with all relevant questions about the registration process.
The first registration phase will run until September 23 (2 a.m. CEST), during which time the team managers can re-register their team. Players should accept their team invitations or leave the current team. In the second, subsequent phase, the managers have the opportunity to create new teams and invite players. From the end of this second phase, 2:00 am on October 4th, all cadres and teams count as "final" and are thus determined.
This season the teams get a little more help. From this year the coaches will be allowed to stay in the dressing room during the selection phase before each game. This leaves more opportunity to discuss hero selection and tactics. At the end of the selection phase, however, they still have to leave the booth.
An overview of all tournaments of the Dota Pro Circuit can be found here. There the major tournaments with 1 million prize money each stand out.
