The interface has been changed significantly and is slightly more in the direction of the Shooter HUD. One thing that stands out is the "Air Clean" display, which could indicate sections where the atmosphere is toxic. Maybe Chris then has to get a protective suit or is under time pressure to pass through such areas.
An "old friend" also appears in the video: The boot. With this, Chris gives the rest to dejected monsters in close combat by killing them properly. This saves ammo and is extremely satisfying, if a bit brutal, but nobody expects peace and joy pancakes in a Resident Evil game.
Timed plays "Not a Hero" right after the events of the history of Resident Evil 7. Unlike the untrained and involuntary hero Ethan, Chris as a highly trained soldier approaches the matter a little differently. As a result, the whole thing will still offer the typical horror, but it probably tends a bit more into the action section. The aim of the DLC is to arrest the suspected person responsible for the outbreak of the monster plague and he is hiding deep in the mine.
The Resident Evil 7 DLC "Not a Hero" will be released on 12.12.2017 and is free for all owners of the main game. A Gold Edition of the game with all DLCs and expansions should appear at the same time.
