Something very macabre became in Telltales Batman Game discovered, the body of Russian diplomat Andrey Karlov, who was murdered in an assassination attempt last December, was used in a photo in the game. The images of the assassin standing over the corpse of the dead went around the world.
Batman with a dead diplomat - bad joke or simply forgotten?
Here is the corresponding tweet:

How the picture ended up in the Batman game is still unknown. It is unclear whether it was just overlooked or a graphic artist found it "funny".
Often in the early development process, images are simply taken from Google search, copyright rights etc. play no role. It's just about saving time and investing weeks in designing your own graphics instead of weeks. These pictures are usually exchanged before the publication, against own creations that really fit the game. But even for such purposes it may be a little disrespectful to use pictures of real dead people.
Telltale has not yet issued a statement, one can only hope that a patch to remove the images will come as soon as possible and an official apology to Andrey Karlov's family.
