If you haven't had enough despite the various winter and Christmas sales promotions on Steam, GoG and Co., you can go to the in February Steam Sale look forward to the Chinese New Year.
From February 15 to February 19, there will be the next mega discount campaign on the Steam gaming platform.
The next @steam_games sale is Lunar New Year Sale and will run from February 15th to 19th.

Chinese New Year sale
For us in Europe, the reason may not be that relevant, but a chance for bargains is always welcome. For game companies this is chinese new year always a good time for holiday events, like new skins in League of Legends or like here a steam sale. Because in China this is a public holiday when teenagers receive money from parents and older relatives in red envelopes. The sense of the blessing behind it is then reflected in a blessing for the wallet of the young people and of course they should invest it in their games hobby.
It is not yet known which titles will be sold at low prices. A focus on Chinese / Asian games and game makers wouldn't be a big surprise. There was a similar campaign in early February in 2016.
According to rumors, the new card game from Valve is available Artifact, shortly before the start of the public beta, maybe we can expect an additional surprise for the Chinese New Year.
