The end of the European and North American League of Legends LCS League this weekend, thanks to many tiebreakers, was a lot of excitement. Especially NA with a total of 5 tiebreaker games made for extremely tight decisions and after more than 9 weeks the table looked completely different than expected.

In Europe, however, it looked almost the same, fan favorite FNATIC was able to secure first place ahead of G2 Esports, while the season started with so many hopes. FC Schalke 04 team unfortunately missed the playoffs.

League of Legends - NA LCS

In America a total of 5 tiebreakers had to be played tonight until it was finally clear which team would start the postseason on which place.

Surprisingly, could Team SoloMid After an extremely bad start to the season, not only qualify for the PlayOffs, but even secure 3rd place. After winning 2 tiebreakers against Clutch gaming and Team Liquid (TL), they even banned Team Liquid to the traditional 4th place. The TL fans were certainly not happy that the Reddit meme "Liquid always finishes fourth" "TL always ends up in 4th place." Was fulfilled.

For TSM fans, however, it was a conciliatory end to the season, especially against the ex TSM ADC Double lift who now plays in Team Liquid. Cloud 9, on the other hand, had to be content with rank 5 after losing a streak in recent weeks.
