The makers of GWENT have one Beginners and a deck guide published for their free online card game.
GWENT is a bit more demanding in terms of mechanics than Hearthstone, for example. But that is precisely what makes it so attractive for an incredible number of players. It usually depends more on your own tactics and strategy than on the element of chance. Top players like Life coach switched from Hearthstone to GWENT precisely because of the minor coincidence and the focus on deck building and strategy.
GWENT - Beginners Guide
To make it easier to get started, the developers are not only planning a major Homecoming Update, a significantly better tutorial in the game, but also have one today Introductory guide published by Francesca “Jaggerous” Jagger.
In this she explains the basics, the groups and the first steps.

There you can watch a few professionals and also experience some of the best decks in action. For a better understanding and overview there is a matching one Beginner's Guide to Deck Archetypes.
It explains 7 popular, powerful decks that are safe to play on weekends. This gives you a “cheat sheet” which particularly strong cards you have to watch out for. And maybe you will come up with cool deck ideas yourself or you can build them for yourself.
