In addition to the gigantic reports about Heroes of the Storm 2.0, Blizzard also published first information about the new heroine Cassia.
The Amazon warrior from the Askari tribe has her home on the island of Skovos. Cassia was part of the group of adventurers who defeated Diablo and destroyed the World Stone. These experiences changed Cassia and made it clear to her that the Askari would need an army to face the coming darkness.
With this goal in mind, Cassia began training and passed on all the knowledge she had acquired in a life full of hard struggles.
Cassia - mobile assassin with reach
A very aggressive assassin, Cassia has bonus armor while she is on the move. Of course, this makes them particularly susceptible to movement-inhibiting effects.
Amazons typically throw their lightning spear (Lightning Fury), which when hitting the first hero splits into two more lightning bolts, which also inflict damage.
Cassia's next ability Blinding light, hides enemies in an area and allows Cassia to inflict extra damage. This bonus applies to your auto attacks as well as all abilities and is also effective if the opponent was blinded by another hero.
The Amazon's third ability is Fend. Cassia charges at the enemy and channels a vortex of spear thrusts for 1.5 seconds, injuring all enemies in a cone-shaped area in front of her.
As a heroic ability, Cassia initially has Ball Lightning to select. With it, she hurls a ball of pure energy at her enemies. This bounces like a ball from one opponent to the next and inflicts damage to everyone. If there is no second opponent available at the moment, the energy ball can also use Cassia itself as a stopover, Cassia does not suffer any damage.
The second heroic ability summons a real one Valkyrie come here. This storms towards Cassia and pulls the first enemy hero with it, while all other enemies are thrown aside. Through the following short stun, Cassia finds it easy to accommodate her other abilities as well.
For the 20th birthday of the Diablo series, Cassia joins the ranks of the Heroes of the Storm.
