World of Warcraft - Battle for Azeroth Logo

With the release of the latest World of Warcraft Extension Battle for Azeroth unfortunately there were a number of small bugs. A quick hotfix now fixes many of these problems and also changes some classes.

So Frost Death Knights can look forward to 3% more damage to all abilities. There is also 3% more skill damage for animal mastery and marksmanship hunters. Holy priests even get 8% more damage.

There were also a number of adjustments in PvP.

Animations and display

  • Frogs and Toads' Battle Pet Ability 'Swarm of Flies' will now continue to orbit the pet instead of staying in place.
  • The Hammer of Wrath visual effect is now displayed on the target.

Classes

  • Death knight
    • frost
      • All skill damage increased by 3 %.
      • Breath of Sindragosa's damage reduced by 12 %.
  • Druid
    • All skills learned through Feral Affinity increased damage by 15 %.
    • Feral Affinity's energy regeneration bonus increased to 45 % (was 35 %).
      • Guardian
        • Moonbeam now properly deals damage and healing on elevators.
  • Hunter
    • Animal domination
      • All skill damage increased by 3 %.
    • Marksmanship
      • All skill damage increased by 3 %.
  • priest
    • Holy Nova damage increased by 20 %.
      • Holy
        • All skill damage increased by 8 %.
  • Villain
    • Assassination
      • Crimson Storm damage reduced by 10 %.
      • Trickster damage bonus reduced to 80 % (was 100 %).
  • shaman
    • Elementary
      • All skill damage increased by 4 %.

    • Fear mana cost reduced to 10 % (was 15 %).
    • Ailments
      • Summon Dark Eye will now have its cooldown reset at the end of battles.
      • Demonology
        • All skill damage increased by 5 %.

Creatures and NPCs

  • Alzzin the Wildshaper no longer deals excessive damage.
  • Chromie's health has been increased.
  • Bastillax's health has been reduced.

Darkmoon Fair

  • The plague bog fight at Darkmoon Faire is no longer harder than expected.

Objects

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the effect of some trinkets from triggering when used at maximum range.

World of Warcraft - PvP

  • Folk Skills
    • Judgment of Light now deals 50 % less damage in PvP.
    • Reckoning of Light now deals 50 % less damage in PvP.
  • Death knight
    • Unholy Strength now increases strength by 10 % in PvP (was 15 %).

        • Pillar of Frost now increases strength by 10 % in PvP (was 15 %).
      • Unholy
        • Wandering Plague PvP talent damage reduced by 50 %.
        • Reduced the healing absorption of the Necrotic Wound effect created by the PvP talent "Necrotic Strike" by 33 %.
        • Virulent Plague now deals 10 % less damage in PvP.
        • Virulent Outbreak now deals 10 % less damage in PvP.
  • Druid
    • Restoration
      • The PvP talent "Focused Growth" now reduces the mana cost of "Blooming Life" by 40 % (up from 60 %).
      • Focused Growth PvP talent now increases Healing from Life in Bloom by 30 % (was 50 %).
  • Hunter

      • Alpha Animal: Falcon PvP talent damage reduced by 40 %.
    • Marksmanship
      • Careful Aiming now increases Aimed Shot damage by 50 % in PvP (was 100 %).
      • Aimed Shot now deals 15 % more damage to targets you haven't hurt in PvP (was 50 %).

      • Righteous Judgment now increases Templar Judgment's damage by 10 % in PvP (was 15 %).

      • Word of Glory healing reduced by 20 % in PvP.
      • Divine Purpose now increases damage and healing by 20 % in PvP (was 30 %).
      • The Hammer of Reckoning PvP talent now gains a stack when targets with your Great Boons take damage equal to 2.5 % of your maximum health (was 5 %).
      • Aura of Vengeance PvP talent now increases Holy Damage and Critical Strike chance by 3 % per stack (up from 4 %).
      • Vengeance Aura PvP talent duration reduced to 8 seconds (was 10 seconds).

      • Sins of the Many now increases damage by 8 % in PvP (was 12 %).
      • Trinity PvP talent now increases Atonement healing by 12 % (was 20 %).
      • The PvP talent 'Archangel' now increases healing and absorption by 20 % (was 30 %).

      • The Madness Threshold PvP talent now properly reduces damage taken when you have 90 Madness or more (60 Madness if the Legacy of the Void talent is selected).
  • Villain
    • Exploiting the Weak now increases damage done to the target by 5 % in PvP (was 10 %).
    • Death From Above PvP talent now increases Eviscerate / Poison / Kill damage by 10 % (up from 15 %).
    • Assassination
      • Fixed a bug that caused the Creeping Poison PvP talent to be reset to a longer duration than intended.
      • Creeping Poison PvP talent damage reduced by 50 %.
      • Deadly Poison now deals 20 % less damage in PvP.
      • Vendetta now increases target damage by 20 % in PvP (was 30 %).
      • Poisoned Blade now increases poison damage done to target by 20 % in PvP (was 30 %).
      • Strangle now deals 20 % less damage in PvP.
      • Cheating now increases the damage of Garrote by 50 % in PvP when used while stealthy (was 100 %).
    • lawlessness
      • Loot Armor PvP talent now reduces the target's maximum health by 10 % (up from 15 %).
      • The PvP loot armor talent now increases the villain's maximum health by 10 % (up from 15 %).
      • The Real Rogue Friends PvP talent now increases your damage and the damage of your Rogue Trade target by 10 % (up from 15 %).
      • The Azerite Bonus 'Bringantenblitz' can no longer be obtained from the 'Adrenaline Rush' triggered by 'Control is Everything'.

      • Shuriken Combo now increases Eviscerate damage by 3 % per stack in PvP (was 5 %).
      • The effectiveness of the Azerite trait 'Revenge of the Night' has been reduced by 66 % in PvP.

      • Spirit Link PvP talent now redirects 35 % of damage to the team (up from 50 %).
      • The mana cost of the Spirit Link PvP talent has been increased by 12.5 %.
      • The PvP talent "Spirit Link" now reduces the healing of the Azerite trait "Fizzy Spirits" by 80 %.

Quests

  • "Continuing Your Training: Master Woo" and the corresponding daily quest have been temporarily removed.
