After rather negative reports, EA is providing a new one today Battlefield V Trailer for fresh hype. The video gets the players in the mood for the upcoming Gamescom and is much more popular than the previous trailers.

Battlefield V - Weak presale numbers
Only recently it became known that Electronic Arts Chief Design Officer Patrick Söderlund had left the company after more than 20 years. Söderlund was particularly involved at DICE with the development and design of the Battlefield series.

Battlefield V will be released on October 19th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The first trailers were quite torn up by the fan base due to a lack of historical accuracy and caused a lot of negative voices.
This probably resulted in the weak pre-sales that were announced. The Battlefield V release falls between the next one Call of Duty from Activision Blizzard and Take Two's Red Dead Redemption 2. Both rival titles posted significantly better advance sales figures. With the tightly packed release dates in the second half of the year, even large franchises like Battlefield can go under.
