In the latest round on World of Warcraft Updates, Blizzard continues to take care of the class balance and screwed on the heart of Azeroth.

World of Warcraft - Hotfixes October 2, 2018

Classes

  • Death knight
    • Unholy
      • All damage increased by 4 % (including damage from pets).
  • Druid
    • Savagery
      • All damage increased by 4 %.
  • magician
    • Fire
      • All damage increased by 5 %.
  • priest
    • shadow
      • Mind Flay damage increased by 10 %.
      • Mind Blast damage increased by 10 %.
  • shaman
    • Elementary
      • Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, and Earthquake damage increased by 15 %.
    • Reinforcement
      • All damage increased by 5 %.
    • Restoration
      • All healing increased by 4 %.
      • Healing Surge healing increased by 6 % while slightly reducing its mana cost.
  • Sorcerer
    • Demonology
      • Shadow Bolt, Demon Bolt, and Call Dreadstalker damage increased by 15 %.
  • warrior
    • protection
      • Front Fighter now increases armor by 50 % strength (up from 45 %).
      • Front fighter increases stamina by 40 % (previously 35 %).

Objects

  • Heart of Azeroth
    • Fixed a bug that prevented the Titans Archive from stacking in combat unless the player was actively attacking an enemy.

PvP

  • The incapacitation effect of Enhancement Shaman's Smashing can now be removed by abilities such as Gladiator's Medallion and Ice Block.
  • Alterac Valley
    • Creatures in Alterac Valley now have more health and damage for level 120 players with higher item levels.
  • Island of Conquest
    • Devastators now deal less damage to Siegemen and players.
    • The damage that siege engines inflict on players has been reduced.

Quests

  • During “Hunt for Sylvanas” it is now easier to follow Tobias Dunstmantel.

Classes

  • monk
    • Fixed a bug that caused Rising Fog to heal some targets that did not have regular healing effects from the caster.

Island expeditions

  • Other bugs have been fixed that prevented players from receiving progress on island expeditions for the weekly quests "Azerite for the Horde" / "Azerite for the Alliance".

Objects

  • Heart of Azeroth
    • Fixed a bug that caused Vicious Apparitions (Shadow Priests) to deal less damage than intended.
    • Fixed an issue where Final Surprise (Unholy Death Knight) unintentionally reduced damage by 12 %.
    • Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented the Creation Field from increasing the highest secondary value as intended.

jobs

  • Alchemy
    • The amount of Siren Pollen and River Bud required for the Battle Potion of Agility has been adjusted.
    • The amount of ingredients used to make Potion of Impending Death and Potion of Blood Eruption has been reduced.
    • The minimum range within which the damage effect of Potion of Impending Death is fully effective has been reduced to 20 yards (was 30 yards).

Time wandering

  • End time
    • Murozond and the Ghouls have had their health significantly reduced when they encounter Sylvanas.
  • The stone core
    • High Priestess Azil's gravity well no longer deals excessive damage.

War fronts

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the “Lost Caravan” event from appearing in the Alliance version of the Battle of Stromgarde.
  • The research option "Warfront Resource Manager" has been changed. It now reads: Make resources available from outside the war front, which means you go into battle with 80 iron and 20 wood.

World quests

  • Nez'ara will now properly reset when unable to attack enemies.
  • Continued Interference will now properly reset.
