PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS

Since the last update for PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS there has been a lot going on in the battle royale world. Due to the changed matchmaking and the region lock, the gaming experience should actually get better, but in reality it looks different.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Matchmaking bugged

Especially the one Region lock was a long requested feature of the players. This should prevent players from other regions from showing up in the matches with high latency and causing chaos. In addition, this gave the European and American players protection from the Hackers & Cheaters hoped to have more than 90% from Asia. This should be taken away from the possibility of causing mischief on the western server. Unfortunately the implementation of the Regionlock was not 100% and there are more cheaters & hackers than ever before on the western servers. Because the deactivation of the region selection can be bypassed with small tricks and thus affects almost only the honest players.

At the same time, many players complain that they are seemingly distributed randomly on servers worldwide. That changed Matchmaking System searches for matches and teammates who are roughly equal. Just as the team behind PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS has now admitted, there are various errors. Players either end up in inappropriate matches, on servers with high latency or have endless waiting times

On Twitter there was the information that an update is already being worked on and that the players should use the quickjoin function for the time being:
