It's done, ARK: Survival Evolved has passed the Early Access phase and has been officially released. If you consider how many Early Access titles, especially in the survival area, never pack it up for publication, you can celebrate this as an achievement. This means that ARK can now be purchased everywhere in stores and via Steam. The standard version costs 59.99 € and the Season Pass is currently reduced by 33% to 26.79 €.
The last update came with the Creatures "Otter" and "Phoenix".
In contrast to most of the creatures in ARK, the otters are very nice animals that can be tamed as pets and sent in search of black pearls.
Only found in the Scorched Earth expansion area, the phoenix is a fiery fellow whose heat rays cause its enemies to go up in flames.
The development took almost 26 months and a lot has changed since the first concepts.

A lot has happened and changed there.
As the developers write, they started with an ARK, a boss and around 30 creatures and a trillion bugs. Those times are over, however, and the players who were part of Early Access from the beginning could see how ARK: Survival Evolved has developed and improved.
At the time of publication there are four ARKs, one of which is the Nordic and Scottish inspired Ragnarok, 5 bosses and over 100 creatures that you can tame or fight. In addition, there are now hundreds of mods, story, UI improvements and probably the most important invention of mankind: a toilet.
So if you prefer to do your next survival training virtually, but with dinosaurs and alien technology, you should take a look at ARK: Suvival Evolved take risk.
ARK is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
