The Kickstarter campaign for Ashes of Creation has now passed the $ 2.5 million mark.

Ashes of Creation - New underground breed for everyone

In addition to the underground world unlocked at 1.75 million, there will now be a playable underground race. The new race is said to have beasts or animal-like traits and attributes.

Of course, additional stories, quests and backgrounds are added to match. The developers will announce the first details during a live stream on Tuesday. The first concept drawings, the name and the background story of the 9th breed are to be announced.

Two further goals for the backers and supporters were also achieved. The exclusive set of colors was activated for 12,000 backers. With the gigantic 13,500 supporters, which have since been exceeded, there is a unique armor for the mounts for everyone who takes part in the Kickstarter campaign.

Alpha video of the freeholds

A few days ago a video with the first in-game views of the Kaelar and Empyrion Freeholds was published. The developers show the impressive graphics of the settlements and how the individual houses differ. Depending on the decision of the player, there are more urban, urban or almost industrial variants. Even from a distance you can see whether you are more likely to meet farmers or whether there are more craftsmen such as blacksmiths.

Of course, these are pre-alpha recordings, so styles and other details can change at any time. There is still a long way to go until the beta and from there to the release, the release is not planned for 2018.
