Publisher Paradox Interactive announced today that their hit game Cities: Skylines from 2015 has now been sold over 3.5 million times. To mark this milestone, Paradox Interactive and developer Colossal Order are working on a free DLC. The package called "Pearls from the East" will add 3 new Chinese-style buildings to the game. The new eye-catchers for your cities will be a panda zoo, a Chinese temple and the Shanghai Pearl Tower.
Frederik Wester, CEO of publisher Paradox Interactive announced:
“Cities: Skylines has broken records from day one. The game was our most extensive release to date and sold 250,000 copies in the first 24 hours. In addition, the community is constantly growing and the enthusiasm is growing more and more. Cities: Skylines exemplifies the kind of gaming experience that we want to support here at Paradox Interactive. So we are proud that the players are just as enthusiastic today as they were two years ago.
Happy Birthday Cities: Skylines, congratulations to Colossal Order and thanks to all of our fans ”
