Whenever you think about the hype Destiny 2 couldn't get any bigger, Bungie added another shovel. The recently published launch trailer shows the last events around our heroes and thus the starting point for the players. No Destiny 2 fan should miss the cinematic trailer.
The situation is pretty grim, the last city has been conquered, the Guardians dead or driven out and the main villain Ghaul has made sure that they can no longer use the abilities of the light.
New Destiny 2 information from Edge Magazine
There was some new gameplay information in the last issue of Edge Magazine.
For example, the Hunter class can create up to 8 orbs to fill all team members' bars for their super attacks. This makes hunters a very popular class for all raids.
To 30vs 60 frames per second debate the developers said that putting 60 FPS on the console would have been at the expense of gameplay. Of course 60 FPS would be possible, but then the number of opponents or vehicles would have to be reduced. So the decision was made for 30 FPS and better gameplay with more action. With the PC version there will be no FPS limit and will only be limited by the performance of the system.
Boss fights: Should no longer just be endurance tests, but rather challenge the skills of the players. As an example, a boss was named who pressures the players with fire and servants. So there are only a few opportunities to attack him yourself, in contrast to the predecessor, the boss then takes real damage and it doesn't feel like you are shooting at him with blank cartridges.
If you're worried about long-term employment, the campaign and story mode alone should be approx. 55 hours of fun and that before considering multiplayer and PvP.
As usual, you can find the Destiny 2 Launch Trailer at the beginning of the article. Destiny 2 will be released on September 6 for PlaysStation 4 and Xbox One, and on October 24 for PC.
