Fortnite - The 50 versus 50 mode is here

Fortnite

As indicated in the last patch, the  "50 against 50" Mode for Fortnite active. You can let off steam to your heart's content in the new mode until December 17th.

Apart from the number of participants, almost everything runs like a normal Battle Royale.

You start one Battle Royale, change the selection to 50 against 50 and off you go. Whether alone or with up to 3 other team members, you get on the battle bus and are dropped over the map. As usual, you can communicate with your team or duo partner and have the markings on the map.

In addition, the members of your 50 team have green markings above their heads and on the map. The shrinking circle behaves just as ruthlessly as in the standard matches.

Fortnite - Extra rules for the new mode

Special rules for "50 against 50":

  • Voice chat only for the "small" team, with all 50 players it would be a bit chaotic.
  • No friendly fire. Nevertheless hit indicators appear.
  • Limited view of allied team members (green arrows and markings)
  • You can revive all team members of the large, 50s team. Not just members of your small team.
  • The other allied players will only be visible after landing.

Since the "50 against 50" mode in Fortnite is limited in time for the time being, you should take the opportunity to try it out. If you particularly liked this Battle Royale variant, the developers will be happy to receive feedback and maybe the mode will then be incorporated as a permanent innovation.
