For the ninth time in a row, the North American League of Legends Team SoloMid (TSM) made it to the LCS playoff final yesterday. With a 3-0 win over Team FlyQuest, the team around Midlaner Bjergsen surprisingly prevailed.

Game 1 even ran in FlyQuest's direction at the beginning, thanks to First Blood to TSM Jungler Svenskeren, FlyQuest was gold-wise for a long time, but could not maintain the lead, let alone extend it .. TSM Svenkeren, who was 0-5 behind in the early game, did not Best figure in the match, then ended the game with 2-5-10 conciliatory. But that's the strength of a homogeneous team like TSM, if things go bad at one point, you can usually rely on the other members to take over the reins. In this case it was TSM WildTurtle who gave a convincing performance with the 7-2-5 final score. WildTurtle was even able to book 2 solo kills, on the opposing Ashe and shortly afterwards on the FlyQuest Jungler Moon with Gragas.

In the debate about the occupation of the ADC (shooter) spot by Team SoloMid for the upcoming LCS summer split and the following World Championship, of course, this provides new fuel. WildTurtle has made it clear that he is no second choice compared to the TSM Doublelift, who is returning from his break.

Midlaner Bjergsen performed well with Syndra in Game 1 (6-2-5) and 5-1-7 in the second match, after which Syndra was banned in the third match.

But that didn't really help Team FlyQuest. With Taliyah Bjergsen showed once again that his champion pool is almost inexhaustible and that he is continuously expanding it. Together with an unkillable Nautilus, which Toplaner Hauntzer played with confidence, he led his team to victory. Game 3 was also the fastest and after only 31 minutes Team SoloMids was perfect for the final.

The long-term competitor Cloud9, who prevailed over Team Phoenix1 on Saturday, is already waiting for them there. Even Midlaner Ryu, who convinced against Team Dignitas in the quarterfinals with Oriana and perfectly set ultimates, could do little against Cloud9. Here, too, the final score looked quite clear with 3-0 and we can look forward to the new edition of the NA classic TSM vs C9.

League of Legends - LCS EU Semi-Final Results

In Europe, the results were a little more exciting. After all, Fanatic won the first game in the first semi-final against Team G2. The team then unfortunately had to give up after 3 defeats in a row.

The second semi-final between Team Misfits and Team Unicorns of Love showed several exciting endgame clashes with somewhat longer games. The Unicorns won the first 2 games and then suffered a defeat in the 3rd. Unfortunately, Team Misfits couldn't prevail in game 4 to force a decisive 5th game and after only 26 minutes the way to the final was clear for the Unicorns of Love.

Endgame information

In North America, Cloud9 and Team SoloMid will face each other in the final in Vancouver, Canada, while FlyQuest will fight Phoenix1 for 3rd place. The games will take place on April 22nd and 23rd and will of course be broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube.
