Exciting news for fans of GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. Although the title is still in beta, the developers of Project Red are already organizing a tournament with 100,000$ prize money. In cooperation with the ESL, the 4 best players in the community will compete against 4 well-known GWENT professionals.
256 players will compete in each of the two open qualification tournaments, team blue “Temeria” and team red “Redania”. To participate you need a GWENT closed beta access. From all registrations, the 256 players with the highest rank on the GWENT leaderboard will be invited.
The two finalists of both qualifying tournaments will then have the chance to test their skills against professionals.

Jeffrey "TrumpTeam SoloMid's Shih: a long-standing streamer who's been an active player in eSports Starcraft 2 and Hearthstone.
Adrian "Life coach“Koy: The life coach from Germany started out as a professional poker player. He then moved to Hearthstone and made a name for himself as the winner of several tournaments. He recently caused a stir in the scene when he turned his back on Hearthstone and now devotes himself entirely to GWENT.
Kacem "Noxious“Khilaji: The Canadian-born player for the compLexity Gaming team is not only known as a Hearthstone player, but also for his casting.
Peter "ppd“Dager: ppd made a name for himself as the Dota 2 player for Team Evil Genius with whom he won The International 2015.
Project Red has invited a few strong candidates to get the GWENT sSports scene rolling.
The qualifying tournaments will be on April 8th and 9th occur. The registration period is from March 16-22.
