If you want to own the new paladin hero Arthas, you can expect the Hearthstone challenge to defeat the Lich King with all 9 classes.
To help you with this venture, we've put together a few decks that are up to the task. In our first article we had decks for warriors, hunters and druids put together, here is a strategy that works with all classes.
Secret research has revealed the Lich King's greatest weakness: Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle!
Um ... in other words: Murlocs!
In addition to the bane of the coastal cities in Azeroth, murlocs are an insurmountable problem for Arthas.
The most powerful weapon in Hearthstone - Murlocs
The following cards serve as the basic structure:
2x Murloc tidescaller
2x Bluegill Warrior
2x stone pond hunters
2x Murloc leader
2x scout of the primordial fins
2x depth light oracle
2x depth light viewer
2x Good-natured Megasaurus
1x cloudy eye of the old
Cloudy Eye the Old One is not required 100%, but you need at least 1 Murloc Leader and a Good-natured Megasaurus.
The dust costs for these decks are therefore very low.
The rest of the deck is filled with cheap buffs for your creatures or opportunities to draw more cards. Do not use cards that cost more than 7 mana, because by turn 7 the game should be over and the Lich King should be overrun by your army.
If the Lich King has a blizzard in hand to play on turn 6, you are very likely defeated, then try Loatheb or a Nerubian ripper on turn 5.
Mages can also add a counterspell for this purpose. For mages, due to their health, Molten Giant is an option.
Shamans should think of riot. Rogues have a cheap buff with Cold Blood, which in combination with Windfury can cause tremendous damage to the murlocs.
So there are still a lot of possibilities to improve the decks with your cards.
In Part 1 you can find the rest of the guides for warriors, hunters and druids.
