The first few days with the new one Hearthstone Extension Kobolds & Catacombs (K&K) are over and some popular decks have emerged. We have a small overview for you of what awaits you as an opponent in the standard ranking.

Elemental - Paladin

It starts with the Elementar Paladin, who only plays two K&K cards himself, but is well prepared for the new flood of legendary weapons with 2x acidic mud:

OTK - OneTurnKill - priest

Here not only the good old Inner Fire + Divine Will combo is used for the kill, with Lyra the light breaker and the dragon soul, you can alternatively build a huge dragon army.

Silver Hand Recruits - Paladin

The little 1/1 servants that you can summon with your hero skills will be like  Level up! really strong. There are also a number of weapons to either summon more recruits or to reinforce them with Darkshire Governors + Blade of Incursion.

Control warlock

The control warlock can cope with every challenge and win over Gul'dan and an army of demons.

Hunter - midrange

Thanks to new servants from K&K, the hunter does not do badly and benefits from the new traps and spells to summon several servants at the same time.

The secret weapon - magician

Until now, mages rarely had weapons in hand, but the new legendary Aluneth weapon is just too powerful. Due to the endless supply of cards, your opponent will not last long and your defensive secrets such as counter-spells ensure that he has few options.

Endless druid

The Endless Druid never runs the risk of dying from exhaustion, the new astral tigers provide a remedy here, as they are repeatedly shuffled into the deck when they die. It doesn't matter that you go through 2x Evil contamination Draws 10 more cards than the opponent. With N'Zoth, your counterpart has to deal with a huge horde at some point or give up immediately.

Hunter spell

Although the new To me! Card was quite ridiculed, as many people tried their hand at a hunter deck without servants and were sometimes able to achieve amazing results.

So when you have pulled the cards out of the first packs, maybe do a trial round first before you break them down to dust.

Dragon priest

Dragon priests have been in effect since Twilight Breaker, as one of the strongest deck types. Accordingly, there is a dragon deck here, which confronts the new flood of secrets with the secret eater.
