We can be happy that it is only the celebration and not the fire that purifies us. The event runs until July 30th, so enough time to save up some gold before the expansion is released. After all, appears Dr. Bumm's secret laboratory already on August 7th.
As in the meantime, the extension brings 135 new cards, so if you don't have the 50 or 80 packages in the pre sales saved, saving a little gold is definitely the right thing to do.
