League of Legends - German patch notes for 7.17

League of Legends Patch 7.17 brings the new Ornn champion, the new Star Guardian skins and minor balance changes for some champions.

Ornn, the god of the volcanic smiths leaves his forge after centuries and enters the league. Ornn is a top planner who, according to his backstory, handles fire and will heat up his opponents properly. In addition, it offers a completely new ability that is sure to change the dynamics of the top lane. With his ability to shop everywhere or to forge the items, he can stand his man uh God in the lane longer than any other champion.

Champion changes overview:

Draven: His passive voice was a bit too strong and if he dies he loses more veneration. In addition, he receives 25 instead of 50 gold base amount per kill.

Ezreal: His "Poke" damage with the Q ability is now healed too quickly or neutralized with shields, so Riot increases the total attack damage of Mystic Shot to 1.25 (from 1.1 before).

Hecarim: So that he feels more like the cavalry again, the duration of fear of his ultimat is now scaled with the distance covered. This means that Hecarim cannot use his R just before the opponent.

Leona: The passive “sunlight” now does significantly more damage, but it fades faster. From 3.5s duration to 1.5s. The damage increases from 20-105 (at levels 1-18) to 25-144. This means that duos that work well together are more rewarded.

At the same time, the cooldown of your Q ability is set from 9/8/7/6/5 to a constant 6 seconds and can therefore be used much more often in the early game.

Urgot: Despite the remake, Urgot was played relatively little to remedy the riot strengthening its W and E.

W - cleaning: Purge now refreshes the duration of W's “Targeted” debuff, preventing Urgot from suddenly switching targets during the “Purge”.

E - contempt If Urgot uses "Contempt" during "Purge" but does not throw a champion, he now continues to fire "Purge" earlier until the duration has expired (ban reduced to ~ 1.375 seconds ⇒ 1 second).

R - reign of terror Slowdown duration and reactivation window 3 seconds ⇒ 4 seconds

Zed: His basic attack speed is increased from 0.644 to 0.651 and the duration of his W-Living Shadow is increased from 4.5s to 5s. Thus, Zed can find better time windows and use them to use his skills.

Rotation game mode:
