The teaser video for the next League of Legends Champion has been published by Riot. For those of you who didn't know, the new champion is a shooter and support team and thus offers the first double release in League of Legends.
Rakan and Xayah are the newest couple that awaits you. Riot takes this opportunity to show the background of the two champions with many wonderfully told stories and at the same time to give more insights into the varied world of Runeterra.

The new League of Legends team in the game
Contrary to all assumptions, you can choose freely and thus only have one of the two on the team. There is no other way for technical reasons alone, otherwise a ban on one of the two characters would be a ban on the partner at the same time.

Xayah throws her daggers around on the battlefield and they are tough 
Passive: razor sharp feathers - As a passive, your daggers pierce through all enemies after using an ability and hit those behind them. All targets except the first take reduced damage. The daggers also leave feathers behind, which remain in place for the medium term.
Q: twin feathers - With this ability, the shooter throws 2 daggers at the same time, which also hit all opponents and leave feathers behind.
W: spring vortex - With the spring vortex, Xayah buffed itself and increased the strength and speed of your next standard attacks. On top of that, Xayah gets an increased running speed when she attacks an opposing champion.
E: Bladecaller - All the feathers that remain on the ground with their abilities are of course useful. Thus, with this ability, Xayah calls all feathers back to himself. Enemies that are hit along the way are damaged and can no longer move for a short time after multiple hits.
R: Thundering feathers - Xayah's ultimate ability, she jumps briefly in the air and can no longer be targeted, but she is able to move. Shortly afterwards a knife rain follows in a cone-shaped area. These knives injure enemies hit and leave a feather behind. For this reason, the combination with Klingenrufer is of course a good idea.

Passive: fluffed up - Rakan's cloak regularly creates a shield to protect him. Attacking enemy champions reduces the cooldown.
Q: Phoenix feather - Rakan throws an enchanted feather forward and triggers a charge in his cloak when it hits an opposing champion or an epic monster. This charge discharges after a short time in a healing spell with a short range. The effect is triggered instantly when an ally is touched.
W: Well done - Rakan jumps forward with a lot of grace and style and throws nearby opponents into the air.
E: war dancers - Here Rakan rushes to the aid of an ally and protects him from harm. After the first activation, he can trigger the ability a second time and help another ally or even touch the same again. If the target is Xayah, Rakan has a greater range with this ability.
R: Step your way free! - Rakan puts a spell on his cloak and runs. All enemies that he touches during “Step your way!” Are enchanted by the cloak and suffer damage. Touching the same champion multiple times does not increase the damage and the first opponent touched grants Rakan immense speed.

Intimate connection - When Rakan or Xayah start a callback, the partner can synchronize with it. As a result, both return to the base perfectly choreographed.
