Path of Exile - Expansion appointment and video

Path of Exile

"The Wraeclast as we know it no longer exists ..." The trailer for Path of Exile's next expansion The Fall of Oriath, which will be released on August 4th, starts with these ominous words.

Everything is new in May ... August in Path of Exile

The Fall of Oriath is really turning the Path of Exile world upside down, 6 new acts have been added to the previous 4 acts. In doing so, it is not just the new files that are packed in, the entire game is restructured. Instead of 3 levels of difficulty as before, where you played through the existing files again, as is typical for the genre, there is now only one level of difficulty. Thanks to the total of 10 acts, there is enough content and stories to get to the end game in just one run.

If you consider that Path of Exile is a FreetoPlay game and the expansion won't cost a penny either, this complete overhaul of the game is quite a unique project. To say positive about the community's enthusiasm would be a huge understatement.

Of course, the extension also offers everything you can expect. New spells, new gems, reworked classes and Ascendancy subclasses.

In the redesigned world of Wraeclast, players will also encounter a whole range of gods this time. If they die prematurely, caused by us, they drop stones that give the player part of their abilities. This means that there is another system available for customizing your character.

The Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath will be released on August 4th and, like the main game, can be played for free and without restrictions. The shop, through which Path of Exile is financed, offers purely cosmetic items such as skins for weapons or armor. In contrast to other PayToWin titles, but no technical improvements. This is precisely why the game and the developers at GGG are very popular with the fan community.
