After the Path of Exile developers asked the community for their feedback on the next 2 weeks Event League, there were tons of ideas. The result is the Turmoil League.

Similar to the Mayhem League, each zone is dominated by a modifier, which can mean that an additional Rogue Exiles awaits, boxes or invasion bosses. In the Mayhem League we were still expecting 20 per zone, which of course led to an extremely high amount of loot, so this league was also "voided". In other words, the characters and items were deleted after the end of the league and not converted to standard as usual.

Path of Exile - Turmoil League

Understandable because the amount of loot was really extreme. Since the players were in the feedback against "voided" leagues, there is now the defused version with Turmoil with 5 boxes / bosses / breaches etc. There is still a lot of action, but the amount of loot is not that extremely high. So this time, after the end of the league, all characters will be converted to standard, including the items.

The 2-week event will start on Friday, July 14th and is available in 3 versions. Standard, Hardcore and Hardcore Solo-Self-Found, that means you can't act and you have to rely solely on the objects you find yourself.

A lot of rewards will be raffled among the participants, depending on the level reached your character is qualified for different items. For example, every day among the top 15,000 players there are 100 classic mystery boxes and 100 beta keys to be won for the upcoming Path of Exile expansion "The Fall of Oriath".
