World of Warcraft has long been offering exciting and captivating eSports action in the form of player vs. Player Arena Fight. Every year at Blizzcon, the best teams in the world compete against each other and fight for huge prize money. As announced today, Blizzard plans to expand the eSports scene with the Mythic Dungeon Invitational.
In the mythical dungeons of Legion you will receive a keystone upon successful completion which enables you to contest the dungeon at a higher level. If you complete this successfully again, you will receive a higher stone, etc. As the level increases, the opponents become stronger and receive additional skills, for example:
Angry - Regular enemies get enraged once they reach 30% health, increasing their damage by 100% until they die.
As a reward, there will be boxes with high-quality items.
An even better reward is that $ 100,000 in prize money that the best players in the world expect. 32 teams from all regions will have to do their best to secure their share. Eight teams each from America, Europe, China and the Asia-Pacific region can qualify.
World of Warcraft - The Trial by Fire takes place from July 26th to August 9th
During this time, the teams fight for the invitation to the best 32, while they fight their way through the mythical keystone dungeons in the hunt for the perfect result. At the end of the 2 weeks, the best results will be over Blizzard's homepage submitted. A one-time stroke of luck does not count, but the results of the 5 top dungeons mastered in this period are evaluated.
The top 32
The grand final will then take place in September, in which the teams compete against each other in a knockout tournament format on one day. These exciting duels will be live on Blizzard's Twitch Channel transfer.
