After publication, is before expansion. You could apply the well-known soccer motto “After the game, before the game” to the survival adventure ARK: Survival Evolved rewrite.
At the same time as the release of the main game this week, the Season Pass was announced, which in addition to the already available expansion "Scorched Earth" also includes 2 other, previously unknown, expansions.
ARK: Survival Evolved - Aberration, the hostile ARK
The first information has now leaked about one of these two extensions. AberrationWhich translates as something like wrong development, anomaly, aberration, is supposed to bring an ARK (planet) that is quite hostile to life. This doesn't just mean dinosaurs, but rather the environment is extremely unfriendly. The atmosphere has partially escaped and without this protective layer, the sun will radiate radioactively the surface.

As a result, one is forced to stay in the extensive cave systems. At least until one has hopefully made it into protective clothing.
To explore the cave systems, there will be climbing equipment, zip lines or the opportunity to slide through the caves on the new species of "Rock Drakes". According to the short description on the steam page, the whole thing reads a little less like “prehistoric with dinosaurs” and more like “strange alien planet”.
The ARK: Survival Evolved Extension Aberration is slated to appear in October and will cost approximately US $ 20 each. It is free for Season Pass owners. According to the developers, further information and a trailer for the new features should be available as soon as possible.
