From time to time the developer Ubisoft is accused, and not entirely wrongly, of producing their games according to the run-of-the-mill models. With Assassin's Creed: Origins this should be different. The programmers promise real side quests that are based on the “Collect me 45 items! Thank you, well done. Now collect 67 more items for me! ”Patterns should be clearly differentiated.

In the new title of the popular series, meaningful and unique side quests are intended to encourage the player to explore the open world. Developer Ashraf Ismail said in an interview:

We want people to get off the beaten track and be rewarded with a discovery, something with meaning, and that's why we fill the world with things like that.

Just the fact that Assassin's Creed: Origins will be set in ancient Egypt offers countless opportunities for exciting adventures away from the main story. This era is full of mysteries and secrets that have always caught people's imaginations.

The team puts so much work into surprising content that it is already being exaggerated:

So we've overdone it when it comes to making sure there is plenty of optional content that will constantly surprise the player, that is of high quality, that has narrative value, and that shows why this is where the Assassins Guild was born.

Since the game is also making some changes in the open world, it should be easy to get players to explore remote paths. Some changes are, for example, the removal of the minimap, which is replaced by a compass (similar to The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim). There should also be the opportunity to explore the world from above with an eagle.

Assassin's Creed: Origins is slated for release on October 27, 2017 and will be available for Playstation 4, PC and Xbox One system.
