Call of Duty: WWII - Story Trailer Released

Call of Duty: WWII Trailer

The story trailer for Call of Duty: WWII has been released tonight. The video, which could easily be mistaken for a new Band of Brothers episode, makes the time to release seem even longer.

Call of Duty: WWII - The story leads from D-Day to Germany

In the Call of Duty: WWII campaign, we experience the story of the Private Ronald "Red" Daniels. As a young recruit, he had his first real battle on D-Day of all places, when the allied forces landed in Normandy on June 6, 1944. What is to go down in history as one of the greatest military actions was a nightmare for the soldiers on the ground. And that's exactly where Private Red ends up as a member of the 1st US Infantry Division.

In the further course he and his comrades fight their way across Europe and experience historical theaters of war such as the Ardennes or the Hürtgen Forest. Private Red's path, and thus the path of the player, leads them to Germany and the end of the war.

The newest part of the Call of Duty franchise will be released on November 3rd and will be available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Next week, from September 29th to October 2nd, the open PC beta instead of where the fans can definitely try out the multiplayer mode. The console players already had their chances and were thrilled with the first insights.
