The private multiplayer beta of will start at gamescom 2017 Call of Duty: WWII. The developers of Sledgehammer Games have now announced more details together with publisher Activision. There is also an action-packed trailer that shows a lot of gameplay from parachutists to bridge defenses against tanks.
Call of Duty: WWII Multiplayer starts in 10 days
From August 25th, the first Playstation 4 players can get started in the multiplayer beta. 3 different maps and 3 classic game modes are available. All 5 divisions can also be selected. Divisions replace the classic class system, you choose one of 5 legendary divisions from World War II when creating your character. This will give you division-specific combat training and the appropriate weapon skills.
According to the developer Schofield, these then also form the foundation for the multiplayer part. What exactly is to be represented by this remains unclear, but it could mean the preselection of weapons, equipment or skills.

In the Scorestreaks section, the following have been added for the beta: Molotov, Glide Bomb and Artillery Barrage.
In addition to the 3 classic game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination and Hardpoint, beta players will also be able to try out the new War Mode variant.
There are also 3 of the classic cards and with Breakout, the new card for War Mode. The known cards are Du Hoc, Ardennes and Gibraltar.
