With the aptly named "The Color of Madness" receives Darkest Dungeon his 3rd DLC. After the 2nd DLC The Shieldbreaker brought an additional class, the next expansion comes with a new type of quests, a faction and trinkets.

Darkest Dungeon: The Color of Madness

"With five feeble senses we pretend to comprehend the boundlessly complex cosmos ..."

-HP Lovecraft

“Some hateful shard of alien origin has streaked through the night sky, crashing into the old Miller's farm on the outskirts of the Hamlet! Those unfortunate enough to witness the Comet's arrival have been blinded by what they can only describe as a shifting, ephemeral hue of damnably abrasive intensity. There has been no word from the farm in a fortnight, save for the unearthly groaning that echoes from the ruin of the mill ... "

The new quests are a kind of struggle for survival, in which you have to defeat endless waves of opponents. You hold out as long as possible to get a better score. "You can then compare these with friends or enemies" Which sounds like an online ranking list to us and introduces a bit of friendly competition into the solo world of Darkest Dungeon.

New enemy faction:

The remains of the Müller family and their assistants can be found around the windmill. These spread the devouring influence of the comet there.

So that we can face these new enemies accordingly, new pieces of jewelry are available in the nomad wagon

Console News:

The "The Shieldbreaker" DLC will be released on December 6th for the PlayStation Version appear.

Switch: Although there is no release date yet, one thing is certain: Both DLCs will be available at the start of the Switch version.

Ipad: The conversion of "Crimson Court" and "The Shieldbreaker" is in progress and there should be news soon on the date of publication.
