Great news for all those who are not used to the current Destiny 2 Beta fun, via Twitter Bungie has announced that the test period is extended by 2 days. So you can play until the 26th at 3 am.
Destiny 2 - Server stress test
Since the additional time is to be used for special tests, the players have to be prepared for increased disconnections.
Enjoy the extra time, but expect some chop. We're going to start just unplugging wires to see what happens. It's about to get weird. https://t.co/7AyB8jwamk

Roughly translated: “We'll pull a few plugs and just see what happens. So expect some terminations "
The developers like to use such tests to exhaust the realistic capacities of the servers and their network structure. If you consider that the predecessor Destiny has sold more than 7 million times, you have to expect an enormous run on the servers. And nothing ruins the fun of the game more than not being able to play because the login server or something similar fails. If hundreds of thousands of players want to get started at the same time on the day of release, the appropriate hardware must be ready.
So it might be a good thing that the PC version of Destiny 2 is a little delayed. While the Playstation 4 and Xbox One version will be released on September 6th, the PC version will not come until October 24th.
