For new players who have not yet participated in the end of the season, here is a small overview of what with yours Characters, Paragon Points, and Achievements happens. Don't worry, nothing will be lost.
At the end of the season, your season characters will be in Standard characters converted, the entire contents of the box will be sent to you by post and can be picked up by you within the next 30 days.
Your season gold will be added to the gold of your non-season characters. Splinters of blood work the same, but there is a slight difference between them. If your assembled blood splinters are above the maximum value that you can collect, then you must first consume splinters at Kadala before you can collect new blood splinters in Nephalim Porten.
The Successes and recipes that your heroes have earned during the season will be added to your non-season achievements and recipes. The same goes for the properties in Kanais Dice etc.
Diablo 3 - Paragon Points
Both Paragon points It is important to remember that these are not simply added up, but the experience gained is added up. For example, you started Diablo 3 in Season 11 and 200 paragon points reached. These were in at the end of the season 200 paragon points converted for your standard characters.
You have now in season 12 300 Reached paragon points, these will also be transferred to your non-season characters at the end of the season. After that, however, it is not 200+300 = 500, but since the pure experience points are added "only" 344. This results from the fact that each additional Paragon point needs a lot more experience points than the last.
A useful tool at this point is the Paragon Calculator, in which you can easily calculate how many points you can expect after the end of the season.
Blizzard has also provided a video in which all important information about a season end or start is summarized, you can find it at the beginning of the article.
Changes in season 13:
Unfortunately there are probably no changes or patches for season 13. After the rather strong adjustments and buffs at the beginning of season 12, everything stays the same for season 13. Little should change in the ranking of the individual classes and builds. If you need suggestions for your season 13 class, you can refer to our Access classes guide to season 12.
