Fans of Final Fantasy XIV only have to hold out for a few days until the Stormblood expansion is released on June 20th. With the captivating launch trailer, the mood and expectations are once again really heated.

It is always surprising how much content and story the Final Fantasy XIV team produces. Not only for big events like the expansion Stormblood, but regularly, mostly with an interval of only 2 months, content updates that offer more activity than some other MMORPGs in a whole year.

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood - with 2 new classes

The Warriors of Light receive new reinforcements in the form of two additional classes:

Red mage the new Range DPS class, has a rapier in one hand and its crystal medium in the other. The new class starts at level 50 and has no basic class. They share the equipment with the black mages and summoners, so red mages also need intelligence as a main attribute.

Her magic repertoire is composed of black and white magic and her combat system is also a mixture of range and melee. With lightning-fast movement, they change position and deal massive damage by chaining spells one after the other.

samurai The new Melee DPS class uses the traditional two-handed sword katana. Like red magicians, they start directly at level 50 and do not require any basic classes as a prerequisite.

Based on strength as the main attribute, they share their equipment with the monks. In close combat range, they deal massive damage with the katana and master various sword techniques.

The new story with the fight against the empire and the attempts to retake Ala Mhigo is impressively shown in the trailer.

Stormblood - the new features
