Final Fantasy XV - PC version will support mods

Final Fantasy XV

After Announcement of the PC version of Final Fantasy XV the euphoria among PC owners was already quite high. For some, the better, high-resolution graphics and the other improved features are not even the main reason for joy. Much more, the announcement of mods and mod support for the role play, the community in ecstasy.

Final Fantasy XV - Game Director promises mods as soon as possible

In an interview, Game Director Hajime Tabata said that mod support is something PC gamers definitely deserve. You (the development team) definitely want to incorporate mods, but the general conditions (modding policy) have not yet been finalized. Full details will be announced in autumn. Tabata could not say whether the mod support was already implemented when the PC version was released or whether it would be delivered with a patch shortly afterwards. But the goal is to implement the function as soon as possible.

Final Fantasy XV is an excellent game in itself with an epic story about Prince Noctis, his bride Lunafreya and the battle for the kingdom of Lucis. In addition to the elaborate cutscenes, an open world with sidequests and sidelines that invite you to explore offers a whole lot of hours of fun.

Thanks to the announced possibility to change the game with mods, these hours could multiply. If you look at the mod scene for The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, you will find thousands of changes and improvements, from new armor graphics to the total conversion of the Skyrim all at once in the tropics, including a sandy beach. The idea of the fans is endless, even if some mods are maybe a bit quirky e.g. B .: Bazinga Mod for Left 4Dead2.

This is a novelty for Final Fantasy games, so far there was no option to use mods in any part. The enthusiasm of the fans is correspondingly great. Who knows, maybe Prince Noctis' troop will soon be driving around in a VW Beetle. After all, there are no limits to the imagination of the fans.

Final Fantasy XV for PC is due to be released in early 2017 and offers 4K textures, unlimited FPS and many other technical improvements.
