Microsoft and Square Enix have now announced a collaboration of the unexpected kind. The Regalia, fancy sports car from Prince Noctis from Final Fantasy XV, will be available in Forza Horizon 3. Forza developer Microsoft announced this at the ChinaJoy 2017 exhibition.

The Regalia was one of the most popular features in Final Fantasy 15, some players just enjoyed driving around with the troop and taking in the scenery. Others sped from one quest to the next at full throttle. The loyal Regalia has not let anyone down. At least most of the time not, and when he did, Cindy got him going again in no time. When Square Enix designed the Regalia for Final Fantasy XV, there was a lot of attention to detail in it. This is now recognized with the inclusion in the Forza Horizon 3 fleet.

All Forza Horizon 3 and Final Fantasy XV players will receive the car free of charge from August 1st. FF15 players receive a code via the Xbox Live messaging system which, when redeemed, will unlock the Regalia for them.
