The action role-playing game won multiple awards for the most original story and, after its release in February 2017, headed the list of the best-selling games for weeks. This DLC was released yesterday with Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds announced by developer Guerrilla Games during the Sony press conference. In addition to the impressive trailer, which is already whetting the appetite for more, the team has also published a number of screenshots.

Horizon Zero Dawn - The Background

Horizon Zero Dawn is set in a world about 1000 years after the collapse of civilization. Almost all of humanity was destroyed by a computer virus running amok, the few survivors gather in small communities and live from the hunt. The rest of the world is populated by robot animals that are largely peaceful until they are corrupted by the virus mentioned above.

Aloy is a young hunter of unknown origin who sets out to uncover the background. With the help of a computer chip, she can access computers in ancient ruins and thus find various clues. This chip robot also allows you to tame animals and use them as mounts.

The enlargement gives us access to the borderlands beyond the northern mountains. There we meet the Banuk tribe, who challenge everyone who enters their territory. Aloy not only has to face these challenges, but also conquer a new threat to unravel another part of her past.
