The League of Legends Update 8.3 brings improvements for champions like Tryndamere and Master Yi, as well as the major overhaul of Swain. The focus of the patch is clearly on the champions who have lost sight of something, Jhin and Lucian have also received small buffs.
The highlight of the patch is of course the great Swain Rework. The ruler of Noxus, known as an ingenious tactic, presents himself from today in a new guise and with contemporary skills.
You can find the spotlight video for Swain at the beginning of the article. As the next champions Irelia, Akali and Aatrox are still up for revision this year.
League of Legends - Patch 8.3 Highlights:
Azir gets a slightly longer cooldown on his Q-Wanderdüne: 11 / 9.5 / 8 / 6.5 / 5 ⇒ 15 / 12.5 / 10 / 7.5 / 5
Jhinthat was hit too hard by the runes and lethality weakening gets more damage on its ultimate: base damage 50/115/180 ⇒ 50/125/200
Lucian: Here the developers have the "old" problem, if they buff it too much it will be played in the midlane, where it actually has little place.
For now he gets a little buff on his passive voice: Light contactors
- Second shot damage increased from 40/50/60 % attack damage to 50/55/60 % attack damage.
- Second shot critical damage from 50 % to 75 %.
Master Yi: The mana cost of his Q has been reduced and the base damage of E-Wuju style increased at the first ranks: 14/23/32/41/50 ⇒ 18/26/34/42/50. Additionally, E now scales with 35% of the additional attack damage instead of 25%.
Ryze: His ultimate is when a stopwatch or Zhonya's hourglass is activated interrupted. So it is no longer a 100% safe escape route.
Tryndamere: Increased attack damage from 3.2 to 3.7.
His E-Whirling Blade gets a better scaling from 120 % additional attack damage to 130 % additional attack damage.
Zoe:
Q - Wandering Star cooldown from 7.5 / 7 / 6.75 / 6.5 / 6.25 to 8.5 / 8 / 7.5 / 7 / 6.5
