One day before E3, a leaked video about a possible Ori and the Blind Forest successor caused a stir among fans. During the Microsoft press conference, the developers at Moon Studios have now officially presented the second part: Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps - The Prehistory
The predecessor, showered with awards, let the player experience the story of Ori and help him on the dangerous journey to save the forest of Nibel. Computer games rarely succeed in conveying such emotions as in Ori and the Blind Forest. The graphics, lovingly created with the smallest details, did the rest to capture the melancholy mood. Together with the wonderful soundtrack, Ori became a surprise hit and is now receiving a well-deserved successor.
The gameplay was by no means forgotten. In Metroidvania style, Ori jumped, slid, climbed, flew and fought his way through the gaming world. The level of difficulty was absolutely fair and yet extremely challenging.
In Ori and the Will of the Wisps the player faces a journey beyond the boundaries of the forest. The search for Ori's true destiny and the background to the secrets of the Nibel Forest send us on a completely new adventure.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps will be released exclusively for Xbox One and Windows 10. The joy of the fans was dampened, however, Microsoft did not provide a release date. So you have to wait and maybe look for the last secrets of part 1.
