PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Way to report cheaters

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS

Nothing disturbs the online fun in player versus player titles like PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS more than cheaters and hackers who work with unfair means.

The faster and more comprehensive the developers receive reports of encounters with cheaters, the faster they can react. PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS has a zero tolerance policy towards cheaters and has already banned thousands of accounts for such offenses.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS already had a wave of bans

Thousands may sound like a lot, ala the game is contaminated with cheaters and hackers. But quite the opposite: with over 4 million copies of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS sold, these are extremely small numbers. The chances of meeting a real hacker are therefore extremely low and most of the "strange" experiences are more likely to be attributed to lag or the fact that you overlooked someone who was hiding in the grass etc. and shot you in the back.

Nonetheless, the operators now offer a contact point via a form on their website to report any cheaters. A function to report players directly in the game client is in progress. Then you should be able to simply right-click on the name to send a message. Such systems are already known from other games such as World of Warcraft or League of Legends.

Until the time in PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, your complaints should of course not go under, so please report them to:

Hi Players,

In order to streamline and simplify the process, we have updated how you report players for breaking the PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS Rules of Conduct. This includes reporting users for cheating, teaming and team killing, among other offenses.

All reports for players breaking the Rules of Conduct are now submitted directly through these forums.

Only forum administrators can view reports, so they are completely confidential.

We will endeavor to be as open and transparent as possible with our investigations into each report, by providing direct feedback indicating that we've either taken action against a user, are still investigating, or require more evidence.
