PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Changes to the loot will be reversed

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS

With the first big monthly patch of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS there were not only many improvements, but also an unintentional change in the loot chances. The community made the development team aware of this via Reddit and also received a prompt response from PLAYERUNKNOWN.

He announced on Twitter that the changes were not intended and will be reversed with the next update.

The players noticed how it had become much more difficult to find enough and suitable equipment. Matches that were previously decided mainly by skill and tactics developed more into a lottery game. Normally, players found enough weapons after looting a small town, even in team games everyone could equip themselves with at least one weapon. After the update you saw more players running around with bare fists, which was neither fun for them, nor for the people who were lucky enough to mow down the unlucky ones.

Fortunately, this was not a disguised balancing change, just a bug.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - incredibly popular

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is currently one of the most popular Battle Royal games with an ever-growing player base. Over 1.1 million copies sold speak volumes about the popularity and the competition in the Battle Royal genre has to warm up. Since the release 4 weeks ago it has been a constant in the sales charts on Steam and the viewership on the streaming platform Twitch is top 3.

With the first monthly patch for PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, in addition to a new weapon, many hiding places for bots and cheaters were closed. A small mistake can slip in and the prompt reaction of the developers shows why PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is rightly so popular in the community.
