While the PC version is slowly approaching release, Xbox players can now also enjoy PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS. Which are exclusive to consoles Xbox One published version is still in the Xbox game preview. This is the Xbox version of Early Access, in which players can buy, test and play the game during development.

The PC version of PUBG has been in the Early Access and is now nearing release on December 20th. The Xbox version of course benefits from the development and test time and should be on the same level in a few months. There are 2 independent programming teams who only care about the game on their platform.

New controls for gamepads
The control scheme of the Xbox version is considered innovative and many buttons have multiple assignments. Switching from mouse and keyboard control on the PC to control via gamepad was a particular challenge. PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS offers a lot of control functions and therefore the development of a successful gamepad control was very important.
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is also available for the Xbox as of today, December 12th, 2017 and costs 29.99 €.
