The fan base has long been waiting for more information Red Dead Redemption 2 by Rockstar Games. Today it finally happened and the latest trailer gives a lot of insight into the story and the characters that await us.

Those who had hoped for scenes from the game were unfortunately disappointed, the video unfortunately shows no gameplay. Instead, it shows the well-done facial animations and the breathtaking environment graphics.

Unfortunately, the developers were rather stingy with more detailed information, only the tiny description below the video was there:

"Red Dead Redemption 2 - the story of the outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang, which robbery, fight and steal through the wide and wild heart of America in order to survive. "

The video definitely creates a lot of discussion material on social media platforms like Reddit. So one can assume that the story is a prequel to Red Dead Redemption 1. This indicates that Dutch Van der Linde addressed personally and some characters look like younger versions of their Part 1 counterparts. If it really is the prehistory, then the question arises whether we are seeing a boy appear John Marston will experience. This was part of the Van der Linden gang and the first game in the series was about his "redemption".

The release date for Red Dead Redemption 2 remains open for the time being, the video ends with a reference to the release in spring 2018. The title will appear for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There were no new indications of a possible PC version.
