By doing Livestream we announced yesterday, some information about the new Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has been published. First of all there is a trailer on Electronic Arts YouTube Channel that really makes the game fun. With game scenes, as well as sequences from all Star Wars time levels and especially the red cross lightsaber by Kylo Ren, the possibilities of the new title are impressively demonstrated.

The beginning of the video shows us the Imperial Special Force Commander Iden Versiowhose story really begins with the destruction of the second Death Star over Endor. A large part of the single player campaign will revolve around Iden, telling a story of revenge, betrayal and redemption that spans 30 years.

The expanded multiplayer experience in Star Wars: Battlefront 2

Up to 40 players will face each other in massive multiplayer battles. In every known era of the Star Wars universe, we will recognize authentic areas and explore them with the new variety of vehicles. In the role of iconic characters, we decide entire battles for our side.

Exciting space battles with up to 24 players in typical spaceships from the Star Wars films await us in space. Among other things, you control Han Solo's Millennium Falcon or Luke Skywalker's X-Wing and destroy imperial shipyards or large combat space ships such as star destroyers.

The developers take the unique characters from each era of the Star Wars saga. For example Rey, Darth Maul, Yoda and Kylo Ren, they all have special individual skills that correspond to their personality.

For console owners there will be a cooperation mode with a split screen.

A sophisticated system of skills and options will allow you to customize your heroes, stormtroopers and your spaceship.

Also very interesting is the statement by DICE Creative Director Bernd Diemer: "There is no season pass"

The fragmentation of the community in Battlefront 1 was one of the biggest problems. If you didn't buy all 4 DLCs, you couldn't play with all the others and some game modes were underpopulated as a result. To prevent this problem, the developers want to come up with a different model for DLCs and extensions. Details on this and whether perhaps only the format of the Season Pass will be changed should follow. So the final decision has not yet been made, but it's a good sign that DICE is aware of the problem.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will be released on November 17th, 2017 for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
