The developers of Electronic Arts have announced the next content with Titanfall 2: Frontier Defense. With the PvE Horde mode, which was introduced in Operation Frontier Shield, there is now a completely new way to play Titanfall 2.
Designed for 4 player cooperation, your team has the task of protecting the harvesters and accompanying opponents through several waves. Each wave consists of coordinated groups of opponents who are only out to destroy the harvesters.
So put your team together appropriately, give your titans the right weapons and equipment and face the opponents with the right strategy.
Titanfall 2 with new logos and war colors for your Titans
The cool look of your titanans is of course the be-all and end-all. With the new Frontier Titan Warpaints (war colors) you can always show what progress you have made in the Frontier Defense. The logo changes depending on the highest level of difficulty you mastered, and it also grants an experience bonus for you and your team. The new Warpaints are only available for a limited time, so grab them.
There are also new Elite Weapon Warpaints for pilots. With these you can beautify your favorite weapon with a new look. Similar to the titanium war colors, the weapon paints give an experience bonus. For each weapon color you have, you have a 10% chance at the end of a match to receive a 2x experience mark, a maximum of 30%.
As the icing on the cake, the developers are introducing a revised card from the original Titanfall. Titanfall: Rise, this map features tall, cliff-like walls with a system of zip lines that you can use to move quickly across the map.
There is also the new Live Fire Map: Township. Here you fight in the middle of an idyllic city with large squares and narrow streets in which you have to prepare for hard hand-to-hand fights.
You can try it out between the 28th and 30th. The opportunity to test Titanfall 2 for free with full multiplayer access and the first level of the campaign.
