Die Updates  für Divinity: Original Sin 2 mögen zwar nur in Monatsabständen erscheinen, dafür beinhalten sie auch gleich dutzende, wenn nicht hunderte Fehlerbehebungen und Verbesserungen.

So auch der aktuelle März Patch mit der Versions Nummer 3.0.180.158. Von Balance Anpassungen wie z.B. Verkrüppelnder Schlag kann nicht keine Verbündeten Ziele mehr treffen bis hin zu Komfort Funktionen wie beim Kampfstart die Formation eurer Party erzwingen zu können, liefert das Team hinter Divinity: Original Sin 2 auch noch eine Seitenlange Liste mit Fehlerbehebungen.

Hi everyone,

We’ve just released a new patch for you.

With this patch we have delivered some minor tweaks and changes to the game. We’ve added localization modding support, something a lot of you have asked for. Also, certain characters that were overreacting before, will give you fair warning when reacting to criminal behaviour.

Last but not least, we have added the Game Master Journal feature that will allow the GM to plan a campaign with notes and descriptions of events (visible only to the GM).

Changes and improvements

  • Crippling blow no longer hits allies
  • Can now force formation when entering combat (formation UI)
  • Listening in on another player’s dialogue now autoscrolls
  • Made puzzle maze portals interactable so that you can click both them and the gargoyle
  • Improved physics on pipes and cogs in imp level in COS
  • Improved a JumpToTurn story call so it doesn’t cause loss of turns in combat
  • Improved sound fx on sand storm
  • Teleporting party characters outside of combat unchains them
  • Certain characters that used to overreact to stealing will now first warn you
  • Without pet pal, animals now animate and play sound fx when talked to
  • When a character triggers a „stop stealing“ dialog, another character can no longer rob the NPC blind without a reaction
  • Followers and summons can now use the toggle actions button to perform certain actions
  • Kemm’s journal is quest item now so you can’t sell it (by accident)
  • Removed toys from treasure tables because they were confusing
  • Attacking Gareth during ritual now interrupts it
  • Added difficulty filter to lobby in controller mode
  • All party members can talk to Victor Flynn about the coffin regardless of who read the letter

  • Fixed a crash related to casting tentacle lash in certain conditions
  • Fixed a crash related to listening to dialogs started by players that have left the game
  • Fixed quicksave crashing under certain conditions
  • Fixed a rare crash loading into the nameless isle (runtime error)
  • Removed skill battle shouts on humanoid NPC’s
  • Fixed party members becoming unchained after using certain waypoints or entrances
  • Fixed savegame names sometimes having the wrong location by default
  • Fixed not being able to equip items from the player’s main character just after recruiting new companions (when using a controller)
  • Fixed not seeing the second player’s portrait sometimes when joining the game in splitscreen
  • Fixed Reactive Shot not working correctly in the bonus range area when the player has higher ground
  • Fixed turn being skipped when stopping a moving character (when using a controller)
  • Fixed error 300 on loading savegames (for specific cases)
  • Fixed dialog log being cleared for the host when removing other players from the active party
