The Diablo 3 Blizzard developers today announced the end of Season 11 and the start dates for Season 12. The 12th Diablo 3 season brings one Lots of buffs for many classes and sets, to adjust them to the approximate level of the top builds.

The 11th season in Europe will be on Friday, End October 20th at 5pm. This is followed by a 3 week break, until then on The 12th season will start on Thursday, November 9th becomes. Just like S11, Thursday was chosen to give the developers the opportunity to react more quickly to errors and problems. This is due to the size of patch 2.6.1. and the multitude of changes.
While in the current season the Necromancer was quite lonely at the top, many other character builds will also be competitive again for the next season, such as barbarians with the whirlwind set or demon hunters with impale build in close combat.
As with every season end, all of your characters and items will be retained. Characters will be converted to non-season characters and you will receive all of the contents of your box and can then collect and sort them. Achievements, gold, paragon points and item skills you are in Kanai's Cube saved, will be added to their non-season versions. So nothing is lost. Even with the Bloodshards, there is nothing to worry about. If your added shards are above your limit, that's fine too. You just can't collect any more until you've spent some.
