Final Fantasy XV

The March update for Final Fantasy XV is here and brings improvements for Chapter 13.

Final Fantasy XV, released on November 29, 2016, regularly receives major patches that incorporate improvements to the story or gameplay. With this, the Square Enix development team is keeping its promises to deliver long-term content for Final Fantasy XV and make it the best game in the series. This includes not only chargeable patches or DLCs, but also many free updates that all customers receive.

The following improvements came with the release of the 1.07 update on March 27, 2017:

  • New areas and cutscenes for Chapter 13, also Gladiolus is playable for the new segment.
  • The Ring of the Lucii spells have been enhanced.
  • At Takka's Pits Stop in Hammerhead you can now see the winners of the first photo competition.
  • Two songs from the episode Gladiolus have been added to the Music Player List.

Of course, bug fixes and gameplay improvements are also part of Patch 1.07.

In addition, numerous adjustments will be made for the upcoming DLC episode Gladiolus.

Final Fantasy XV - Episode Gladiolus

The Expansion with the solo adventure for Gladiolus, will be published one day later on March 28, 2017. The player learns and experiences the story behind Gladiolus' absence in the main game. In order to overcome defeat in battle and to find new strength, he faces the challenge of sword master Gilgamesh. For the first time, this episode offers the opportunity to play a character other than Prince Noctis.

English patch notes:

1. New areas & cutscenes are added to chapter 13 of the game + Gladiolus becomes playable for this new segment.

2. Ring of the Lucii 'spells are buffed

3. Temporary conclusion of the Timed Quest, will resume at a layer date.

4. Announcement of the winning snapshots from first photo contest (viweable at Takka's Pits Stop at Hammerhead)

5. Adition of two pieces from Episode Gladiolus to music player tracklist.

6. Adition of compatibility with Episode Gladiolus.

7. Various gameplay enhancements.

8. Various bugs fixes. More details coming.
